Cement Tile Roof Rebedding and Repointing in Doncaster
This Doncaster cement tile roof required a complete renewal of the bedding and pointing along every ridge and hip, together with replacement of broken roof tiles.
Failed bedding extended along the ridges and hips. Repointing over an unsound base would not have completed the repair, so the ridge caps were re-bedded before new flexible pointing was applied.

All ridge and hip caps were lifted and re-bedded, every ridge and hip was repointed, and broken tiles were replaced to complete the repair while retaining the roof's natural cement-tile finish.

Inspect the ridge, hips and tiles
The cement tile roof was checked for failed bedding and pointing along the ridge and hip lines, as well as broken tiles requiring replacement.

The ridge and hip caps were lifted so the old bedding could be removed and renewed along all ridge and hip sections.

Repoint and replace broken tiles
All re-bedded ridge and hip caps were repointed, and the identified broken cement tiles were replaced to complete the repair scope.
