Identify the material, damaged tiles, ridge caps, valleys, flashings, penetrations and signs of water entry before defining the scope.
- Confirm cement or terracotta tiles

Repair before cleaning and coating
Broken tiles, failed bedding, loose pointing and specified flashing faults should be addressed rather than hidden beneath a finish.
- Replace damaged tiles where possible
- Rebed failed ridge sections where required
- Use flexible pointing on approved ridge areas
Clean and prepare the surface
Pressure cleaning removes moss, lichen, dirt and loose material. Nearby walls, drainage, gardens and neighbouring property should be protected.

- Direct wash water responsibly
- Allow suitable drying time
Apply the specified finish and check the result
Eligible cement tiles may receive a compatible primer followed by specified colour coats. Terracotta requires a different treatment. Final checks cover repairs, finish consistency and clean-up.
