Rotten Batten & Sarking Roof Repair in Murrumbeena
After the terracotta tiles were carefully lifted, the affected roof section revealed deteriorated battens and aged sarking that could no longer provide a sound base beneath the tiles.

The failure was beneath a defined section of tiles where sarking and battens needed replacement. Removing and reinstating the tiles allowed that underlying area to be repaired without expanding the job into a full restoration.
